  • Get Your Air Conditioner Checked

You should have the operation of your air conditioning system inspected periodically. This is to make sure all parts are working correctly and that the refrigerant is fully charged. We will inspect your air conditioning during your State Inspection. The A/C system helps to clear your windshield in the winter months and defrosters are a state inspection item for most cars and trucks. We have a new A/C units for both R134A and the latest R1234YF refrigerants which can recover, recycle, and replace your refrigerant with the precise amount required in todays cars. As well as check for gross systems leaks. I don't use the air conditioner. Do I need to have it fixed? Possibly, depending on the age of your vehicle! In the late 1990's and early 2000's, cars and light trucks started using the air conditioning system all year long. Your air conditioner cools the interior of your car in the summer, and in the winter acts as a dehumidifier removing moisture from the air when using the defroster. This helps to clear your windshield quicker – and is one of the items checked during a State inspection. Also on some hybrid vehicles the A/C is used to cool the high voltage battery pack to maintain performance and long life.

  • Reliable Wheel Alignments in Concord, NH

Accurate – Digital System Front and Rear Alignment Printable Records for Warranty Data Maintained in System Indefinitely Alignments are important to the overall operation of your vehicle and will prolong the life of your tires. Is your vehicle out of alignment? It may be if you are experiencing a pulling or drifting to one side, your steering wheel is off center, or you see uneven tire wear. Several things can cause your alignment to be off. Hitting the unavoidable New Hampshire pothole is a frequent cause. Dirt roads can be a problem. Waiting too long for an alignment could cause steering or suspension issues. If you notice any signs suggesting your vehicle is out of alignment – bring it in soon. We also recommend whenever you change tires that you have an alignment done. Proper alignment is important. It will keep your car running better and save on gas. Alignment will also make your tires last longer. Alignment is also critical to the proper functioning of active driver assist systems (ADAS) on many newer vehicles. Some will require recalibration of the ADAS along with the alignment, we can handle that as well. Our system can print the results of a wheel alignment – which can be requested for warranty issues and repairs, and it keeps track of your alignment results indefinitely. Remember – correct air pressure in your tires will help them last longer also. Our digital system allows us to give you the best alignment possible – the same quality you get at a dealership. Our system uses scan tools and camera feedback for exceptional results.

This calls for a tow truck before further damage is done. YELLOW Check Engine LIGHT — CAUTION! Your vehicle is in need of maintenance. Yes, it could just need more oil, but there could be other problems as well – it needs to be checked! We listen to your explanation of what is happening. We advise you of results, including recommendations which may include further tests, and costs of repairs, if needed. When your Check Engine Light comes on, it usually means something in your emissions system is not working properly. Diagnosing the issue is more than just plugging in the scan tool to get a code. The code tells us what the symptom is – but does not tell us where in the system the problem is occurring. We review all Technical Service Bulletins (TSB) for your vehicle. This lets us know if others have experienced the same problem and if the manufacturer has a fix or will make the repairs under an extended warranty or recall. We test drive your vehicle, this lets your technician see how the vehicle is performing and to listen to any noises. Our technicians are ASE Certified Master Technicians with lots of training and years of experience. This test drive gives them a chance to listen for subtle, odd sounds. In the garage, your vehicle is reviewed under the hood to see if anything is leaking, and confirm other systems and fluids are normal. Your vehicle is placed on a lift so the technician can review the underside of the car or truck. Your technician can examine for damage, rust holes, leaks in pipes, leaking fluids, and anything that seems not quite right. All our findings are placed on the repair order, including technician notes, sometimes pictures or short videos, and shared with you via e-mail or smart phone text. Recommendations are shown with the costs for repairs, and may include further tests. Clicking on the ‘clipboard' icon brings up the description of labor and parts needed.

  • Shocks, Struts and Springs in Concord, NH

Uneven tire wear? Knocking noises? Vehicle does not feel settled through bumps? Bouncing after you go over bumps in the road? You Probably Need New Shocks! Springs, shocks and struts are designed to cushion your vehicle's ride. Broken springs and shocks make for an uncomfortable ride. Given the severe driving conditions in our area due to snow, ice, and pot holes, at some point your shocks will need replacing. Broken springs must be replaced – it is hazardous to drive with a broken spring as parts of the spring may come off and damage other parts of the car and your tires. Broken shocks and struts are also hazardous as they compromise the handling and steering of your car or truck – which could possibly cause an accident. During our Courtesy Check – which is provided with each visit – we visually inspect your vehicle. We look at your brakes, tires, and the shocks/springs/struts located behind your tires to make sure things look good. It is especially important to let us know if you are hearing funny noises or if you feel your car is not handling or steering like it should. We'll check it out and drive your car if needed so we can hear and feel what you do. If we find an issue that needs to be repaired, we will recommend the repair with original equipment or equivalent parts and let you know what the cost will be. We strongly recommend OE parts, as we have experienced premature failures with aftermarket parts. Aftermarket parts can be less expensive but you will be without your vehicle more often due to replacing the same part over and over.

  • Oil Change Program

We will send you a reminder for your next oil change! We review your records, your specific vehicle, its recommendations, and your driving history and will send you a notice for your next oil change/maintenance service At Accomplished Auto, an oil change is more than simply changing the oil and filter in your vehicle. It's a opportunity to have your car or light truck looked over to make sure it is in good working order! Most manufacturers now recommend 5,000 miles or more between oil changes. That's wonderful – as long as you use filters and oils meant to last the manufacturer's suggested intervals. We use extended life oil filters and blended or fully synthetic oils. Yes, they cost a bit more, but you will be changing your oil and filters less often, saving you time and money. We suggest customers come back about halfway through the suggested interval – we will check your oil levels for you and confirm all is well. As part of your oil change, we lube or grease all fittings and places that need lubrication. This includes your door hinges which can become dirty and squeaky and not operate well over time. We use a special lubricant for doors that ‘dries' to a waxy finish so you don't get grease on your clothes. With each visit, we perform our Courtesy Check. This check reviews the health of your car or light truck. We note all our findings on our repair order and share all results with you. This Check alerts you to items that may need repair or maintenance right away, and lets you plan for upcoming maintenance and repairs. We check all light bulbs, fluid levels, tire tread and pressures – adding air if needed, coolant condition, test your battery, and top off your windshield washer fluid. We think of this as a check up for your car. Our commitment to being professional and responsible means if we see something wrong with your vehicle, we will tell you about it. To do less is irresponsible.
