While not every procedure I assist with is life-saving, incrementally improving a patient’s quality of life is rewarding enough for me. I’m careful to ensure my patients feel comfortable in their role as an integral part of the treatment planning team. In my care, they have options. It’s important that they understand those treatment options, so I explain everything thoroughly and answer questions. I like to teach. That is how I guide and empower my patients to reach their health goals.
